Can customers and merchants pause subscriptions and can I prevent customers from unpausing subscriptions?

Question: Is there an Admin option to pause a subscription? is it possible to pause it in a way the customer cannot unpause it?

Answer: Merchants can pause/resume/cancel subscriptions. There’s also a Customer portal page where merchants can set if customers can pause/resume/cancel their subscriptions.

From the app dashboard, click on “Subscriptions”, then select the active subscription you want to pause. Then click on the “Pause” button on the next page.

Depending on the settings in the “Customer Portal” page, the customer can also pause/unpause any active subscription.

  1. The customer has to login to his store account. From the “Account Details” page, click on “See my Subscriptions”. Then select the active subscription they want edited, and click on the “Pause” button on the next page.
