Why was a customer able to book a time that was blocked off by an event in my Google Calendar?
Propel Appointments can only access events on your primary calendar. If a customer booked a blocked time slot, the event likely exists on a secondary calendar rather than your primary one.
Solution
Section titled “Solution”To resolve this issue:
- Check the event location: Edit the event in Google Calendar and verify the ‘Calendar’ field displays your linked account’s email address.
- If the event is on a secondary calendar: Create a duplicate event on your primary calendar with the same start and end times, ensuring your linked account’s email appears in the calendar field.
This ensures Propel Appointments can properly recognize and block off those time slots from customer bookings.
